Cape Le Grand : Lucky Bay
We arrived at Cape Le Grand National Park , just before midday yesterday
The drive in was all tarred roads and through a fabulous landscape with banksia bushes lining the road
I instantly feel in love with the azure ocean and white sand beach, we both were so enchanted we decided to cancel our next booking and stay here an extra night.
We are camping “off the grid” at Lucky bay camping ground.
I would have to say this is the most well cared for National Park camping ground i have ever stayed in. The amenities are fairly new and are immaculate. There are multiple camp kitchens available and the majority of the camp sites have a wonderful view.
Reggie had his first ever run on a beach, and wow what a beach to start on.
The National Park has multiple walking trails available, of various durations and difficulties.
There is actually the Cape Le Grand Coastal trail which in total takes 9 hrs from Rossiter Bay to Le Grand Beach. The above staircase is the beginning of the Lucky Bay to Rossiter Bay walk.
We were so lucky to arrive on such a beautiful day
Until the next blog
